Key takeaways
- AgencyAnalytics is a client-reporting platform priced per client. On 14 October 2026 it cost $25 per client a month billed monthly, or $20 billed annually, with 85+ marketing integrations and a white-labelled client portal.
- The pricing page lists rank tracking as an add-on: $50 a month per 500 keywords on monthly billing.
- Rankings for one client on monthly billing come to $75 a month, or $900 a year. Twelve monthly Rank Check Reports cost $179.88 for 100 keywords and $539.88 for 400.
- AgencyAnalytics is the better buy for agencies that report many channels. A rank check report is the better buy when a client only needs a branded Google ranking report now and then.
An AgencyAnalytics alternative is worth a look only if you use a small part of AgencyAnalytics. It is a client-reporting platform: dashboards, automated reports and a client portal, fed by dozens of marketing integrations. If the only thing a client reads is a Google ranking report, you are running a platform to send one page. For that case, a branded keyword ranking report ordered per client does the same job without the platform.
A disclosure: I run onwardSEO, which sells branded rank check reports, so this is a vendor’s comparison. Every AgencyAnalytics price and feature below comes from its pricing page as I read it on 14 October 2026, and you can see it in the screenshots. Where they don’t show something, I don’t claim it.
The short answer: AgencyAnalytics or a rank check report?
| If you need… | The better fit |
|---|---|
| Client reports that combine many marketing channels | AgencyAnalytics |
| A white-labelled portal your clients log in to | AgencyAnalytics |
| Reports that go out automatically, with alerts | AgencyAnalytics |
| A steady roster of clients reported every month | AgencyAnalytics |
| Google rankings for a pitch, an audit or a quarterly review | Rank check report |
| Rankings for a client who doesn’t want a dashboard | Rank check report |
| A branded web report and PDF with no logins to manage | Rank check report |
| No per-client subscription | Rank check report |
The two are not the same kind of product. AgencyAnalytics is the system an agency runs its reporting on. A Rank Check Report is a finished document about one thing: where a client’s keywords rank on Google, on desktop and mobile, on the day of the check.
AgencyAnalytics pricing (read on 14 October 2026)
AgencyAnalytics’ pricing page opens with “Only pay for the clients you manage” and sells one core plan, priced per client:
- $25 per client, per month, billed monthly.
- $20 per client, per month, billed annually, with the toggle reading “Save 20% annually”.
- Included with every client: unlimited data sources, unlimited reports and dashboards, unlimited staff accounts, 85+ marketing integrations, automated client reporting, a white-labelled client portal, goals, alerts and anomaly detection, AgencyAI insights, benchmarks and forecasting, and MCP access.
- A free 14-day trial with no credit card required, and volume pricing for agencies managing 25 or more clients.
The page showed US dollars, with a currency selector, when I opened it from Romania. Our prices are in US dollars too, so nothing below is converted. Prices can change and can differ by location, so check the page yourself.
Rank tracking is listed as an add-on
Further down, the pricing page lists rank tracking as an add-on. The Rank Tracker card reads “Track desktop, mobile, local, and international search rankings across client campaigns” and costs $50 a month per 500 keywords on monthly billing. The card has its own “Save 20% annually” toggle; I captured only the monthly price, so that is the figure I use. Next to it, an AI Tracker add-on, in beta, costs $25 a month per 250 credits.
So for one client whose ranking report is all you send, monthly billing comes to the core plan plus the add-on: $25 + $50 = $75 a month, or $900 a year, for up to 500 keywords. On annual billing the core plan drops to $240 a year per client and the add-on has its own discount, so the total is lower. The card doesn’t say how desktop and mobile count against the 500 keywords, so ask before you size it.
A year of ranking reports for one client
| Situation | AgencyAnalytics (monthly billing) | onwardSEO Rank Check Reports |
|---|---|---|
| 1 client, 100 keywords, one report a month | $900 ($75 × 12) | $179.88 (12 × $14.99) |
| 1 client, 400 keywords, one report a month | $900 | $539.88 (12 × $44.99, top 30) |
| 1 client, 100 keywords, one report a quarter | $900 for the year, or $300 if you subscribe only in the 4 months you report | $59.96 (4 × $14.99) |
| 5 clients, 100 keywords each, monthly | $2,100 (5 × $25 + $50, × 12) | $899.40 (60 × $14.99) |
The last row assumes one 500-keyword add-on covers all five clients’ lists, with each keyword counted once. All our prices include four Google engines: the client’s Google edition and google.com, each on desktop and mobile.
Now the fair part. For $75 a month AgencyAnalytics gives a client far more than rankings: dashboards and automated reports across 85+ integrations, and a white-labelled portal. If your clients use those, the add-on is a small extra on a platform you already pay for, and this table is beside the point. It only matters when rankings are the one thing a client reads.
A reporting platform pays off when clients read many channels. When they read one ranking page, buy the page.
What you get with each
| AgencyAnalytics core plan + Rank Tracker add-on | Rank Check Report | |

A Rank Check Report also has no dashboard, no daily updates, no search volume, no keyword suggestions and no competitor lists.
A branded ranking report without a platform
A Rank Check Report is built to be forwarded. The cover carries your client’s logo and name (1), the check date and, on a repeat order, the previous one (2), and what was checked: keywords, engines, locations and depth (3). The web report, PDF and Excel file come from the same figures, so you send whichever your client prefers.
The public sample’s cover also shows a “Prepared by onwardSEO” line (4). On bulk B2B orders we can change or remove it: ask us. If your clients expect to log in to a portal under your agency’s brand, AgencyAnalytics’ white-labelled portal is the right tool. Our guide to white label rank tracking compares both routes for agencies.
When AgencyAnalytics is the better choice
- You report several channels per client. With 85+ integrations and unlimited dashboards, one platform replaces a pile of exports. A ranking report covers Google rankings and nothing else.
- Clients expect to log in. A white-labelled portal under your brand is something a PDF can’t replace.
- You want reports to send themselves. Automated client reporting and anomaly alerts take repeat work off a long client list.
- You report many clients every month. Per-client pricing, with volume pricing from 25 clients, suits a steady roster.
When a rank check report is the better choice
- Rankings are the only thing a client reads. Twelve 100-keyword reports cost $179.88 a year, against $900 for a platform seat and the add-on on monthly billing.
- The work is occasional: a pitch for a prospect who isn’t a client yet, an SEO audit, a quarterly review, or a before-and-after check around a migration.
- The client asks where they rank, not how they trend. Search Console’s Performance report gives “the average position of the topmost result from your site”. That is useful for trends, but it is not the position on one Google edition and device on the day of a check.
- Overflow: one large keyword list for one client, once.
If you are still deciding what belongs in a client report at all, our monthly SEO report template covers what to include and what to cut.
Choosing an AgencyAnalytics alternative for ranking reports
- List what each client actually reads. If it is several channels, keep that client on the platform.
- For clients who only read rankings, price them separately: $75 a month on monthly billing, against one report per reporting period.
- Keep the same keywords, Google editions and devices when you move a client’s rankings to a report, so the trend stays comparable.
- Order a rank check with your client’s logo and brand colour for the first report.
- From the second order, every keyword is compared with the previous check and the trend line builds.
If you’d rather have someone read the report and turn it into actions every month, that is what our SEO rank tracking service does.
