Key takeaways
- AccuRanker is a daily rank tracker sold by subscription. On 14 October 2026 its Professional plan cost €249 a month on monthly billing, or €224 a month on yearly billing, for 2,000 keywords.
- A Rank Check Report is one live Google check per order, from $14.99 for 100 keywords on four Google engines, with no subscription.
- For one report a month, a year of reports costs $179.88 (100 keywords) against €2,688 to €2,988 for a year of AccuRanker Professional.
- AccuRanker is the better buy if you need daily data, thousands of keywords, a dashboard for a team, or Bing. A report is the better buy if you need a monthly or occasional picture.
If you are searching for an AccuRanker alternative, the first question is not which tool is better. It is how often you actually look at your rankings. AccuRanker updates every day. Most business owners, in-house marketers and small agencies read rankings once a month, or around a launch, a migration or a client meeting. Paying for daily data you never open is the most common waste in rank tracking, and a Google rank checker you pay for per report is the alternative this comparison weighs against AccuRanker.
A disclosure before the numbers: I run onwardSEO, which sells pay-per-check rank reports, so read this as a vendor’s comparison. To keep it fair, every AccuRanker price and feature below was read on accuranker.com on 14 October 2026 and is shown in the screenshots. Where the screenshots don’t show something, I don’t claim it.
The short answer: AccuRanker or a rank check report?
| If you need… | The better fit |
|---|---|
| Rankings updated every day, with a dashboard | AccuRanker |
| 2,000 keywords or more under continuous tracking | AccuRanker |
| Bing as well as Google | AccuRanker |
| One ranking report a month or a quarter | Rank check report |
| A branded report to forward to a client | Rank check report |
| A before-and-after check around a launch or migration | Rank check report |
| No subscription, no account and no setup | Rank check report |
The two products do different jobs. AccuRanker is software you log in to every day. A Rank Check Report is a finished document: you send your keywords and your Google, and you get a web report, a PDF and an Excel file within one working day.
What AccuRanker costs (read on 14 October 2026)
AccuRanker’s pricing page opens on yearly billing. That matters, because the first price you see is not the price you pay month to month:
- Professional, described as ideal for freelancers, consultants and small agencies: €249 a month on monthly billing, €224 a month on yearly billing, starting at 2,000 keywords, with daily updates.
- Expert: €849 a month on monthly billing, €764 a month on yearly billing, starting at 10,000 keywords.
- Enterprise: price on request, for more than 25,000 keywords.
The page states that annual payment gives a 10% discount and that you can change or cancel your plan at no cost. It showed prices in euros because I opened it from Romania; the page adapts the currency to where you are, so check it in your own location before you decide.
How keywords are counted
AccuRanker’s help guide on keyword duplicates explains that each extra search engine or device counts as an extra keyword. Its own example: one keyword checked on Google and Bing, on mobile and desktop, counts as four keywords instead of one.
So 100 keywords tracked on Google desktop and mobile already use 200 of the Professional plan’s 2,000. That is plenty of room, which is the point: if your list is a few hundred keywords, most of the plan sits unused.
A Rank Check Report counts each keyword once. Desktop and mobile on four Google engines are included in the price: your Google edition on desktop and mobile, plus google.com on desktop and mobile.
The cost of one report a month for a year
Here is what four common situations cost. AccuRanker figures use the euro prices from the screenshots; onwardSEO figures are the US dollar prices from our pricing table. I have not converted currencies, because exchange rates move and the gap is large either way.
| Situation | AccuRanker Professional | onwardSEO Rank Check Reports |
|---|---|---|
| 100 keywords, one report a month for 12 months | €2,988 (monthly billing) or €2,688 (yearly billing) | $179.88 (12 × $14.99, top 30) |
| 200 keywords, top 60, one report a month for 12 months | €2,988 or €2,688 | $359.88 (12 × $29.99) |
| 200 keywords, one report a quarter | €996 if you subscribe for the 4 months you need (4 × €249) | $99.96 (4 × $24.99) |
| Before and after a website migration, 300 keywords | €498 for 2 monthly subscriptions | $69.98 (2 × $34.99) |
Two notes keep this fair. First, AccuRanker gives you daily updates for that money, not one snapshot, so the comparison only holds if one snapshot is what you need. Second, a subscription you start and cancel around each check works on paper, but it means starting and cancelling a plan around every report.
If you read your rankings once a month, you are paying for 29 days of data you never open.
What you get with each
| AccuRanker Professional | Rank Check Report | |
|---|---|---|
| How it is sold | Subscription, monthly or yearly | Per check, prepaid |
| Smallest option on 14 Oct 2026 | €249 a month (monthly billing), 2,000 keywords | $14.99 per check, 100 keywords, top 30 |
| Rank updates | Daily | One live check per order |
| Search engines | Google, Bing and others, each engine and device counted as an extra keyword | Google only; 4 engines included |
| Listed on the pricing card | Daily updates, keyword research, search intent, tagging, advanced filtering | Not applicable: no dashboard or login |
| What you receive | Access to the software | Web report, PDF and Excel file (Summary, Keywords, History) |
| SERP features and AI Overview | Not shown on the pricing card | 18 SERP feature types and AI Overview citations, in every report |
| Branding | Not shown on the pricing card | Your client’s logo and brand colour |
| Commitment | Monthly or yearly plan, cancel at no cost | None |
The Expert plan adds dynamic tagging, Tag Cloud, AI CTR and AI Search Volume. A Rank Check Report has none of those: no search volume, no keyword suggestions and no competitor lists. It reports your own keywords on your own Google, nothing more.
When AccuRanker is the better choice
Pick AccuRanker, or another daily tracker, if any of these is true:
- Someone acts on rankings every day. Large e-commerce sites, publishers and agencies with many active campaigns use daily movement to catch problems early.
- Your list runs into thousands of keywords. At 2,000 keywords and up, a subscription’s cost per keyword falls quickly, and a per-check report is not built for that scale (we quote anything over 400 keywords).
- Your team works in a dashboard. Tags, filters and keyword research inside the tracker save time for people who live in the data.
- You need Bing. The help guide shows Bing, Baidu and Yandex as options. A Rank Check Report covers Google web search only.
When a rank check report is the better choice
Pick a per-check report if your rankings drive a monthly or occasional decision:
- Monthly or quarterly reporting for your own business or a client. Google itself notes that small ranking changes happen all the time and often recover on their own, so its guide to debugging traffic drops recommends comparing longer periods rather than reacting to every movement. That is also why daily rank tracking is overkill for most businesses.
- Client reports. Your client’s logo and brand colour on a web report and a PDF, with no tool login to share.
- One-off moments: a sales pitch, an audit, a redesign, a migration or a Google update. You pay for the check you need and nothing after it.
- Small lists. Up to 400 keywords, priced by tier (a list of 87 is priced as 100), with four Google engines included.
If price is your main concern, our comparison of the cheapest rank tracker options puts twelve tools side by side, including daily trackers that cost less than AccuRanker.
How to switch without losing your bearings
- Before your AccuRanker plan ends, note your current positions for the keywords that matter. That is your baseline.
- Order a check with the same keywords, the same Google editions and the same device split you used in AccuRanker.
- Expect small differences in the first report. Different tools fetch results at different times, so compare direction, not single positions.
- From your second order, the report compares every keyword with your previous check and builds the trend line.
The first report shows “first run” instead of changes, because there is no earlier check to compare with yet. If you would rather have someone read the report every month and turn it into actions, that is what our SEO rank tracking service does.
FAQ
Is a rank check report a full AccuRanker replacement?
No. It replaces AccuRanker only if you use AccuRanker to produce a periodic ranking report. It has no dashboard, no daily updates and no alerts. If you need those, keep a daily tracker.
Why are AccuRanker’s prices in euros here and onwardSEO’s in dollars?
AccuRanker’s pricing page showed euros when opened from Romania on 14 October 2026; the currency depends on where you open it. Rank Check Reports are priced in US dollars, with VAT added at checkout where it applies.
Does a rank check report track Bing?
No. Every check covers Google web search only: four Google engines are included, and you can add more Google editions or cities as extra engines.
How quickly do I get the report?
Within one working day of your order. The check itself is live: one fresh Google results page per keyword and engine, fetched when the check runs.
Can I see a report before I order?
Yes. The Rank Check Reports page links to a full sample report for an anonymised client, as a client receives it.
Get one Google rank report when you need it: up to 400 keywords on four Google engines, desktop and mobile, with SERP features and AI Overview citations. No subscription.
